It is positioned in the Spine/Core layer of data centers or the core/aggregation layer of large-scale campus networks, and is a flagship product for building ultra-large-scale, high-performance, and highly elastic data center networks and campus networks.

CE8865-SAN-4C is an independent 4-slot chassis. It needs to be used in conjunction with the following components:

Master Control Board (MPU) : It provides management, control planes and partial switching capacity.

Line card (LPU) : It provides service ports, allowing users to select line cards of different speeds and densities according to their needs.

Power module (PSU) and FAN module (FAN) : All key components support N+M redundancy to ensure ultra-high reliability.
