I. Core Material
The mainstream materials are 40Cr and 42CrMo alloy steels. For some
heavy-duty scenarios, NM450 wear-resistant steel or high-strength
quenched and tempered steel is used. It is formed through die
forging process, followed by quenched and tempered heat treatment
(quenching + tempering) to improve the balance between hardness and
toughness. Key load-bearing parts will undergo additional surface
strengthening treatments, such as nitriding and quenching, to
enhance wear resistance and fatigue resistance.
II. Core Features
High-Tensile Strength and Crack Resistance: Tensile strength can
reach 800-1000MPa, capable of withstanding the instantaneous impact
force during excavation operations.
Wear Resistance and Fatigue Resistance: The material itself has
excellent wear resistance, and the structural design conforms to
the logic of force application, reducing fatigue loss from
long-term operation.
Precise Adaptability: Processed according to the original factory
dimensions of the machine model, with high hole precision. After
installation, it connects smoothly with the dipper stick and
bucket, without affecting the coordination of movements.
Structural Optimization: The reinforced version with ribs increases
weld thickness or incorporates internal reinforcing ribs. The
dedicated models for heavy-duty scenarios such as mines focus more
on deformation resistance.
III. Usage Analysis
1. Suitable Working Conditions
Ordinary Working Conditions (Earthwork Excavation, River and Canal
Dredging): Conventional forged alloy steel models can meet the
requirements with higher cost-effectiveness.
Heavy-Duty Working Conditions (Mining, Crushing Operations): It is
recommended to prioritize reinforced models or NM450 material
models to avoid breakage and deformation.
Harsh Working Conditions (Humid, Corrosive Environments): Products
with surface rust prevention treatment (galvanization, painting)
should be selected to extend service life.
2. Usage Precautions
Overloading is strictly prohibited, such as forcibly excavating
hard rock or large obstacles, as this can easily cause the
connecting rod to bend or weld seams to crack.
Regularly check the wear condition of the connection pin shafts and
bushings, lubricate them in a timely manner to avoid dry friction
from exacerbating the wear of the connecting rod hole positions.
After operation, clean the mud and gravel on the surface of the
connecting rod, check if there are cracks in the welds, and repair
or replace them promptly if any problems are found.
3. Replacement Cycle
Under normal operating conditions, the service life can reach
8,000-12,000 hours with proper use; under heavy-load conditions,
the cycle is shortened to 4,000-6,000 hours. If situations such as
excessive hole wear, connecting rod bending, or weld cracking
occur, replacement must be carried out immediately to prevent
safety accidents.
