Technical specifications:

The unit is a brass-bodied NTC (negative-temperature-coefficient) sensor with 1/8" NPTF male thread and 19 mm hex, 58 mm overall length and 115 g mass. Its resistance falls from 10 kΩ ±3 % at 25 °C to 184 Ω ±10 % at 100 °C, delivering a steep, repeatable curve that the ECU can resolve to ±1 °C. Response time from ambient to operating temperature in flowing coolant is less than 15 seconds.

Material & performance features:

The sensing element is a glass-encapsulated NTC bead thermally bonded to the brass probe tip for rapid heat transfer and excellent long-term stability. The body is nickel-plated for corrosion resistance and over-moulded in high-temperature PPS resin, achieving IP67 ingress protection.
