V-Bite PC Edge Mount connectors are an industry award-winning design for Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs). They offer a low profile and minimal PCB real estate utilization by edge-mounting to the board. These connectors are suitable for both surface mount and through-hole soldering techniques, with versions available for IR and convection reflow soldering. The unique design locks into place both above and below the PCB, dispersing rotational torque relief to the board rather than the solder points. V-Bite connectors achieve the lowest VSWR ratings due to their straight through-put contact design, avoiding reflections caused by right angles. They are available in 50 and 75 ohm impedance, with threaded and non-threaded options, and variations for different PCB thicknesses and interfaces.
