The Spin Flash Dryer is an advanced continuous drying equipment that integrates drying, pulverizing and sieving in a single unit. It is especially suitable for rapid drying of paste-like, filter-cake, slurry and powder materials.
Hot air enters the drying chamber from the bottom at an optimal velocity, creating a strong rotating airflow that continuously scours the chamber wall, providing a self-cleaning effect that prevents material buildup. The material is fed continuously and quantitatively by a screw feeder into the drying chamber. Under the intense action of the high-speed rotating agitator, the material is impacted, sheared and rapidly micronized into fine particles, which come into full contact with the hot air for efficient heat and mass transfer. The dried powder is carried upward by the hot air, passes through a classification ring, and is collected by a cyclone separator and bag filter. Oversized particles are blocked by the classification ring and returned to the drying chamber for further pulverization and drying.
Extremely fast drying — material residence time is typically only 5 to 30 seconds, making it ideal for heat-sensitive materials; high thermal efficiency of 60% to 75%; capable of directly drying filter cake and paste materials into qualified powder products in a single pass, eliminating the need for pre-pulverization or granulation; compact footprint, continuous operation, and easy maintenance; customizable agitator blade design, classification ring dimensions and heating methods (steam, electric, thermal oil, hot air furnace, etc.) to suit specific material characteristics.
