The valve limit switch box is a kind of feld instrument used to detect the valve status in the automatic control system. it isused to output the open or closed position of the valve as a switching signal. The remote controler receives or samples thecomputer. After confirmation, the next step is performed. The product can also be used as an important valve interlockprotection and remote alarm indication in the automatic control system.

Limit switch box operation
Output shaft from the pneumatic actuator rotates 90º turning the input shaft of the monitor and moving the visual indicator from closed to open (reverses to close). In addition, limit switches provide a dry contact output signal in both the open and closed position. This signal is used to remotely confirm the valve position.
APL 210 Position Monitoring Switchbox is a rotary type position indicator; designed to integrate a valve and pneumatic actuator with a variety of internal switches or sensors. Suitable for small size pneumatic actuators the APL switchbox offers mechanical, low cost single pole, double throw plated contact switching with an operating life of 100,000 cycles. The APL-210 is an IP67 Aluminium bodied standard switchbox with 2 x V3 SPDT limit switches, Beacon indicator & Stainless steel Namur bracket.
