Introduction

It consists of an concave clawless pliers, a bottom fabric plier and an Imada push-pull force meter. The button component is fixed by the concave five-claw pliers, and the clothing is fixed by the bottom fabric plier. By rotating the upper speed control wheel, the user can apply a fixed force and record the fixed force or the breaking force. With the clamps and accessories, this instrument can also test other buttons, denim buttons, four-hole buttons, and clothing accessories such as zippers, bow ties, decals, hooks, D-rings, etc.

Scope of application

Test the fixing strength of buttons, buttons and various clothing accessories. The feature is applicable in the design and manufacturing projects of infant and children's clothing. For example, if a button detaches from the clothing, it may pose a risk of causing the infant to swallow and suffocate. This test item can limit the liability of the clothing manufacturer and ensure that buttons, buttons and other accessories can be properly fixed on the clothing.

Testing method

The fabric with snap fasteners should be placed on the bottom fabric clamp, and ensure that the fabric is compressed after pulling down the push rod. Then, use the concave five-prong button clamp to clamp the button, apply a vertical force of 17 pounds (approximately 7.73 kilograms) and wait for 10 seconds before releasing. If the snap can complete the entire test without being torn off, this snap will be considered safe. At least 20 snaps should be tested each time, and both the concave and convex parts of the snap need to undergo strength testing.
