security. It is optimized for Cisco Software-Defined Access
(SD-Access), network automation, and policy-based segmentation via
Cisco DNA Center.

The C9500-16X-E provides a switching capacity of up to 480 Gbps and
is powered by Cisco’s UADP 2.0 ASIC for programmable pipeline
architecture. It supports full-stack automation, model-driven
telemetry, and robust security including MACsec encryption and
Encrypted Traffic Analytics (ETA). Its 1RU compact form factor
makes it an ideal choice for space-conscious enterprise core
deployments. High availability is ensured with optional redundant
power supplies and fans, along with nonstop forwarding (NSF) and
stateful switchover (SSO) capabilities.
