Description:
The Manual type vertical lathe, also known as a vertical turning center, is a machine tool used for turning and cutting metal components with high precision and efficiency.
Compare with conventional lathes, which are typically horizontal and require the workpiece to be mounted on a rotating chuck, a vertical lathe has a vertical spindle that holds and rotates the workpiece. The cutting tool is mounted on a tool turret that moves in multiple axes, allowing for precise and complex machining operations.
Vertical Lathe Features:
The Single-column model C5116 is a super rigid machine with big machining capacities, stable and rigid structure and high machining efficiency. The machine is equipped with one vertical tool head and can be equipped with high precision digital readout system (DRO).
AC inverter motor is used to achieve speed change.
Gears are made of 40 Cr steel and precision ground for high precision and low machine noise. The machines are designed and built to meet modern machining requirements of high speed cutting tools and carbide cutters on work pieces of ferrous, non-ferrous, composite and other materials.
