Test steps:

a. Turn on the power supply and air source of the instrument, and check whether the "pressure adjustment", "flow adjustment" and "permanent lamp adjustment" on the instrument panel are in the off position.

b. Open the door of the test chamber, move the headform to install the test sample on the headform, adjust the distance from each burner to the test sample to 250mm according to the national standard, and manually remove the sample from the burner.

c. Turn on the power switch and the main valve of the gas source on the instrument, adjust the knob of "Everbright Light Adjustment" on the panel, and light the everlasting lamp with an open flame, the flame is about 20mm long. Press the "?" on the instrument panel display. button and then press the "▲" button, the monitor displays "1005".

The "pressure adjustment" on the adjustment instrument makes the indicated value of the pressure gauge around 0.12Mpa.

d. Press the "Run" button to adjust the "flow adjustment", at this time the burner is lit, adjust the air feed nut at the lower end of the burner, measure the temperature at the flame 250mm with a temperature measuring instrument to (950±50) °C, press the "Reset" button to extinguish the burner flame.

e. Then adjust the monitor on the panel and press "?" button, then press the "▲" button to display "0005", manually move the test sample to the test position, press the "run" button burner to ignite, the display starts to time, the burner will automatically extinguish after 5 seconds of flames, and the re-ignition time will start to time, pay attention to observe whether there is any re-combustion after the sample is flamed, if the re-combustion stops, press the "timing" button on the instrument, and the display will stop timing.

f. Record the continuous combustion time and observed phenomena.

g. Replace the sample with a new one and repeat operations 3.2-3.6. After the test, turn off the power supply and gas source, and clean and maintain the combustion box.
