CWDM (Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexer) Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexer is composed of filter, self-focusing lens,dual fiber, glass tube and single fiber collimator. In principle, CWDM uses optical multiplexer to divide different wavelengths.The optical signal is multiplexed to a single optical fiber for transmission. At the receiving end of the link, the mixed signal in the optical fiber is decomposed into signals of different wavelengths with the aid of an optical de multiplexer, and then connected to the corresponding receiving device. It is a low-cost WDM transmission technology for the access layer of the metropolitan area network.

Dense Wavelength DivisionMultiplexer(DWDM) is based on thin film filter technology and proprietary non flux metal bonded micro optical packaging design, achieving uplink and downlink within the wavelength range of ITU. It provides ITU channel center wavelength, low insertion loss, high channel isolation, low power consumption, wide passband characteristics, no adhesive loop, excellent thermal stability and reliability, etc. In telecommunications network systems, it can be used for uplink or downlink optical signals.
