Maraging is a series of martensite stainless steel with nickel content at 18% by adding cobalt to improve the performance. This series of Stainless Steel have excellent mechanical properties, processing properties, and heat treatment properties. It is also called 18Ni300.

Production process:

The main production processes are smelting, heat processing, cold processing, welding, heat treatment and surface treatment.

Applications

Typical applications for maraging include missile and rocket motor cases, landing and takeoff gear, munitions, aerospace, extrusion tooling, die casting, high performance shafting, gears and fasteners.
