The round mandrel slip joint is the component of drill stem testing tool string. The tool likes other slip joints, accepts the movement associated with ocean heave or temperature change without allowing the movement to disturb the placement of downhole tools. The round mandrel slip joint is designed and manufactured according to NACE MR0175, and suitable for working in H2S abouve 175^oC and full H2S working condition.

* In the downhole well testing the round mandrel slip joint is featured with a variable-length joint to allow the pipe to expand.
* The round mandrel slip joint keeps vertical movement from disturbing tool placement
* The slip joint provides a constant weight on the packer during downhole testing or stimulation.
